Freezing Bug

Before the update I had no signs of freezing. As soon as the large patch update came out, I have experienced two freezes in an 8-hour period. What happened? I thought the patch was supposed to fix it, not break my game. Need another patch...Each time my game freezes it completely stops my entire system. Task manager doesn't respond, and any open apps (i.e. Discord) I can't do anything in it. The only thing I can do to fix it is to force restart my computer.
