Game crashes when loading into the character customisation screen.

On ps5, disk version. If I skip the intro cutscene, game crashes. If I make it through the cut scene, the character customisation screen pops up for 2 seconds, the characters walk forward, then the g...

Update, I have continued to try to push through, but now it crashes after the cut scene but before the character creation screen
