GPU Issues

Question

Hello! Recently me and my girlfriend have both gotten DA:V and love it! The only thing is: My GPU is running at near 100% usage and hers is running at roughly 15-20%. It's causing my game (and PC) to crash, I'm currently stuck on the Treviso Gate Champion fight.

Her specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: GTX 1080
RAM: 16gb
Storage: HDD

My specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: RTX 2060 Super
RAM: 32gb
Storage: SSD

We both get the same framerate at 60-70 FPS, and it looks like the RAM for both PCs runs at about 15.5-16 GB. I'm not great with computers so if anyone could shed some light on what's happening here, I would greatly appreciate it!

What graphics settings are you running on? An unfortunate reality with Veilguard is that sometimes higher spec PCs have to run on lower graphics settings compared to lower spec PCs (source: to avoid video lag and audio crackle, I have to run on mostly Medium settings with a higher spec PC than a friend who can run on Ultra). If you're running on High graphics, try turning down to Medium.
