Heya,
So I went into the mirror to fuss around with some minor cosmetic adjustments on my character, and when I went to finalize the changes, my characters identity had changed from Woman She/Her to Man He/Him and there doesn't seem to be a way to undo or fix that? O_o
Double-checked this by loading in my first save to confirm it wasn't a mistake, and the character was female originally...
To be clear, not the shaving mirror - just the regular one you first get access to.
Hi! The same thing is happening to me. I can't figure out a fix, but I was luckily able to reload a save from right before I tried to change appearance.
Yeah, I didn't notice it until I'd spent about 45 minutes tinkering with sliders, then another hour running around :/
Have been unable to reproduce the issue, so now I'm just waiting/hopeful the option to change gender/pronouns at the mirror, or else I'll have to rely on Nexusmods :(
I unfortunately just noticed this as well, over 15hours into playing. Thought I heard someone call my female character “he” earlier on but didn’t think much of it, then just heard someone call me “boy”. Confirmed in the mirror that my female character is listed as “male, he/him”.
I think this change happened when I looked at Varrics shaving mirror. I opened the options for gender but didn’t choose any of them after reading the prompt.
Unfortunately there is about an 8hour gap between saves where this is fixed. Guess I’ll be waiting for a fix in the next patch hopefully. Actually makes me want to stop playing until this can be resolved.
Ugh. You can't even "fix" it with Varric's mirror either, because (at least for me) once you pick it up once and put it down, it never seems to work again?
