My defense stat is always 0 no matter what armor I use ps5

I have this issue too. I'm on PC/Steam. The defense won't change no matter what helmet or outfit I equip. It only changes when I equip a ring with resistance to something. 

Edit: I checked again. At least in Hossberg, my defense stat is now working with all the equipment (helmet/outfit/rings). The problem may just be in the Lighthouse?

Same issue, also on PS5.

In case it’s relevant, like OP I’m also playing Lords of Fortune rogue.

Was wondering about this myself, I have also noticed this. IIRC it was working in terms of visual increases last night, but even with 65% frost resistance I was still getting 2 shot by frost beams. I'm playing on Nightmare.

Something to do with being in the lighthouse

Yeah being in the Lighthouse messes up your stats for some reason. But even outside it doesn't make sense. My defense is 187 on the main character sheet, but when I press R3 to see the detailed view, it says 206. However if I scroll all the way to the bottom of that screen, it says Defense again and it's 187 there as well. 

Yeah I noticed this too. It only happens in the Lighthouse. I think it's because you're in causal wear there so you're technically not actually wearing any armor, making your defense zero as a result. It's a little annoying though as it makes it hard to double check your stats while preparing for a mission.
