Whenever I get an item from a quest or chest it doesn’t register. Opening only a chest only shows money and crafting materials, not armour or weapons etc. When I try to trade at a vendor it shows my money deducting and the item flashes as if I’ve bought it, but it remains in the vendors inventory and does not go into my inventory.
This also happens with the wardrobe. The same thing happens in the wardrobe; item flashes as if I’ve equipped it and even asks me to save my changes but doesn’t actually change. I also cannot upgrade or enchant items.
Try to repair the game.
(EA app: Game Library > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
This was the first thing I tried but didn’t help. I started another playthrough and it happened again during one of Taash’s companion quests. After that the issue persisted
