I think I’ve found the main cause of the problem: the frame generator! 😡
For some reason, it just doesn’t work properly. When enabled, VRAM usage skyrockets 📈 to absurd levels, causing the stutters I mentioned. Disabling it has improved performance significantly,
⚠️but the issue is still far from resolved. The game continues to consume a ridiculous amount of VRAM.⚠️
😤 What frustrates me the most is that the character textures are far from impressive. The facial area, especially the jawline, remains blurry even with settings on ultra.
💩💩💩💩This is pure lack of optimization from BioWare! They had 10 years to deliver this game, and it’s WAY BELOW expectations.💩💩💩
🟥 If it took them this long to release the new Dragon Age, the least they could’ve done 👉👉 is ensure proper optimization. And if it’s going to be such a VRAM hog, at least give us high-quality textures!
As it stands, 🤔it feels like they barely put in any effort: shoddy💩,
low-quality textures💩, blurry facial features💩, poorly detailed clothing💩, and unpolished weapons💩.
🤔 Maybe part of the blame lies with Nvidia’s drivers and the frame generator,
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️but that doesn’t change the fact 👉that the game is poorly optimized.
💩💩 It’s unacceptable to use so much VRAM for textures that look incomplete or underwhelming.💩💩
💻 And before anyone suggests my hardware is the problem: I’d stay quiet if I didn’t have more than enough power to handle it. My rig is more than capable of running the game at max settings without relying on DLSS.💻
😒I waited 10 years for this title and invested in a system that can handle everything it should offer. And yet, what do I get? Half of my character's textures look decent, while the other half is blurry or, in the case of the clothing, extremely low quality.💩💩💩💩💩💩
👍👍🎉🎉At least the game’s lore lives up to Dragon Age standards, and I’m having fun with that🎮🎮🎉🎉.
But the IMMERSION would be so much better if BioWare had put more effort into the graphics👀.
That’s the bare minimum we should expect after a decade of development. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
