EA_RtasSo sorry to ping you, but it would really help if we could get some sort of official word on this, in terms of whether or not it was an oopsies and they intend to fix it, or whether they intend to leave the game as-is. Many of us literally cannot play the game in its current state, and we need to know if we should go ahead and request a refund. I suspect most of us don't want to request a refund, but we also don't want to pay $80 for a game we'll be unable to play.
BTW, the free Windows PowerToys keyboard remapping feature has allowed me to use the arrow keys. It is a workaround, but it is working well and at least I can play until EA fixes this. The only downside is that I have to remember to turn it on before I launch the game, and turn it off after I exit the game.
