I’m having the same issue and just wanted to see if anyone knows if there’s a fix for this or if it’s being looked at? I romanced Emmrich in my first playthrough and everything worked fine. Now doing another run and I’m getting nothing, either in combat or in the Lighthouse. Even Hezenkoss’ combat comment about burying Emmrich and Rook together didn’t trigger. It’s like half of the game isn’t registering that they’re in a relationship. Is it a flagging issue, maybe?
It sucks because it’s one of the things I loved most about his romance. I really hope someone is able to find a fix for it soon.
No fix that I know of as of now, but there was a seemingly related issue that I added info to here No Companion Dialogue During Enemy Battles regarding combat dialogue with romanced Neve, and they indicated they were escalating it to the devs.
