I play a Woman and an Elf Rouge and got the same dialogue, was very confused but shrugged it off thinking it was just my game or I had misheard. So yeah it definitely happens even if your rook is classified as a woman with she/her pronouns within the game.
Interesting... yeah it sounds like this is just straight up bugged then.
