The Labs Below mission won't start

having the same issue :( I am level 30 and it shows the only wolf statuette left there

Hey, so no, there has not been. I took a look. I messaged folks on it, but I see no update. I know not finishing the game or any quests is highly frustrating believe me. Im looking hard online for things that may work but I know you have done the same. The last update should have fixed issues with quests like this one not starting or being locked out. Im not sure if its retroactive so it may be that the save just wont progress unless you go far back enough and play missions in a different order. I did ask on it.

Has there been any progress on this. I posted a separate topic to upload my video but don’t have any reply there as well. I read on a bunch of gaming sites that Veilguard has been all but abandoned so will there just never be an update that fixes this? From what I’ve gleaned this mission is quite vital to what ending you can get and so I’ve stopped playing altogether and don’t really want to finish if that’s the case. I’d just appreciate an answer one way or the other so I’m not in limbo wondering

Are both of you on Xbox? Do you happen to have side quests on the current playthrough you can do to sync up the game and check and see if the quest will start?

I have already reached out to the team and let them know. Gotta do a few meetings this morning, but I am checking up on this one.

Hello, I have been in touch with FreehandmartC on Reddit and we are experiencing the same lockout of this mission. I am most of the way through the game and have no earlier save to go to but have tried multiple times to trigger The Labs Below and all my character does is slide down the embankment without anything happening. No cut scene, etc. if it would help I can try and take a video of my own but I can tell you it’s identical to the one you were already sent. I don’t want to progress anymore in the game because I can’t finish this vital part of the story. Also, there was a new patch today and I just tested right now and it’s still bugged. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for responding.  I loaded the earliest save that has Regrets of the Dread Wolf active and it had the bug.  This is from my only playthrough.  

FreehandmartC Wanted to follow up on this one and see if you were still having an issue with The Labs Below mission?

I sent over the video as I had a couple of others report the same.

Did you try reloading a previous save file and see if you were able to start it?
Has it happened on any other playthroughs?
