White screen and frozen game at meditating action

It seems like every time I medidate in Rook's room the screen turns white but does not proceed with the scene. This started happening yesterday, and the only thing I can do is force-shut down the gam...

2 month old thread, but any solutions found?  I'm having the same issue trying to meditate after returning from the Minrathous/Treviso attack.  effectively unable to play since this key story point is locked out.

I was able to get past it.  I first did a restart alongside a file verification in Steam, which actually did not work. 

I ended up turning around and going back through the eluvian to the crossroads and immediately returned to the lighthouse.  The meditation scene loaded fine after that.
