NOT SOLVED - App opens every time I close a game

The old origin app had a setting if I wanted the app to automatically open when closing a game. I always set it to not open on its own. The new app doesnt have that setting and opens every time I close a game.

I dont want the app to open when I close the game. Its super annoying to have to close the app EVERY time. It literally opens for no good reason at all. This is bad design. And this is the only app that has this annoying "feature".

The EA app currently doesn’t have a setting to change this behaviour. It’s designed to pop back into view once you quit a game.

Are you AI? I know it doesnt have this setting anymore. I know its designed this way. Thats what I literally wrote.
I reported it years ago when the origin app didnt respect the setting and nothing changed.
I reported it years ago when the current app started to behave like this shortly after release and it still hasnt changed.
Now this is the third time Im reporting it in the hope someone actually changes things to respect user choices. Like I said, ALL other game apps Im using respect my choice because they actually give me a choice.
Honestly, to even design it this way is so messed up. Imagine your car opens all doors every time you turn off the engine. But when its software we are supposed to just tolerate it?
