- @STG_Mordin You realize that they aren't reading these forums. because EA literally doesn't care about anything that isn't money

@7thMuseIf more people knew about how bad EA support and software were they would start losing money, and then they would have to care.
If everyone of us just shuts up and takes it, that's exactly what enables EA's current abusive behavior. Add to this the mandatory use of this useless launcher when you buy an EA game on another platform, and you get a recipe for rage and hate!
I can't play 3 times in a row to a EA game without spending 3 hours trying to figure-out how to fix the freaking launcher to play the game I PAID FOR WITH MY MONEY !!!Seriously EA... stop with the Launcher! Just make games, and stop... It is utter trash and breaks every update!
I hope there will be legislation keeping companies from making launchers mandatory, even more when they sell through other stores (like Steam)
@Eyeshield_2BThe only game I use it for is Sims 4 and that won’t load. Sat here for hours. Why??
Plus I only came back to playing in Feb 23 after playing every iteration of the sims and finally getting fed up.
THIS is why I left.
When will everyone realize EA doesn't care about us? They don't care about the people that buy their products. They don't care about fans of franchises. They just don't care. They have been the lowest tier for quality in launchers since launchers became a thing. They STILL can't even figure out what "Keep me logged in" means, so how are they competent enough to fix these apps? No one there has ever taken any type of business class, because if they did, they would have realized, in Business 101 or even Business for dummies, that keeping existing customers can make you twice as much profit as having to appeal to new ones. I know they don't know that otherwise, we would still have Origin as an option, or the option to install games without a launcher if we choose, but no, they have to collect as much information as they can about us, so they can sell that information, to make up the profit losses from all of us that have not found EA worthy of our money in years. They are too stupid to realize that we would buy games from them if it didn't cost $60 for a game, then hundreds more to get all of the content for that game, only to find out after we spent all of that money, that they broke everything about the franchises we love and made it more about taking more money from us, than it was about the game or the story. Once they discovered microtransactions and expansion packs, they destroyed the fun of playing their new games. So with that said, I am not surprised by the fact that they force us to use a broken app. They don't want us to play the games we bought, because that takes bandwidth from them, so if they can cut us off from our games for a day or two, they can save thousands on internet costs. Either that or their devs are too incompetent to figure out how to make working apps, and I am genuinely not sure if it is stupidity or on purpose, because neither would be out of character for EA.
- @BlueAmi Count me in ...
I agree, origin was a hundred present better than this EA *
L0L ... so true ...
Agreed. All other launchers and companies listen to their consumers but it seems that EA just doesn't care. I wish there was a way for consumer feedback to be directly heard by the devs and then acted upon.
