Shutdown the EA App and go back to Origin. The EA app is useless, doesn't work and is causing you to hemorrhage users because its locked us out of playing our paid for games.
Filing support tickets are pointless they just get closed without a reply. Just shut it down, fire everyone who worked on the app, go back to Origin and pretend it never happened.

I just got the latest Sims 4 expansion today, played a little, no problem. Everything on the app has worked according to plan.
THEN! I close the game to eat, then go to start the game, and BOOM! IT'S. All. GONE. All of it. Every expansion, kit, game pack etc. As well as my other games. This EA App sucks * and needs to be gone. Pronto.
Careful! Mods are going to start deleting posts and threatening you for being a bad consumer!
This is EA we're talking about. You're expected to enjoy paying for games you can't play.
Forgot, I also get my support cases shut down the minute they are submitted. Can't access the games I paid for.
I was just accepted to the new Skate 4 preview, but how am I going to play if I can't install the installation software?
We all know Origin was working too well for EA so they had to force us over to a pre alpha stage app.
That is what EA do these days. Just look at PGA tour and Jedi just released or how BF2042 was launched. The issues with those games are so many and sometimes stupid its mind blowing how those games was green lit to be released it that state.
So that they force people to use an app that is far from ready is just in line with everything else this company launches.
They will never allow us back to Origin though as that would mean they admit they did a mistake and EA never does mistakes.
I do not typically like to glom onto wide-net negative feedback threads....... BUT.
EA has demonstrated its inability to produce and maintain a competent launcher product repeatedly. Being held hostage by a flawed launcher because EA has a robust game library has always been infuriating, but even more so when they finally got Origin to a stable place (after literally years)... only to replace it with the buggy nightmare we now have to use.
EA: it's time for some introspection. I will never play in the NFL, and you will never create a competent desktop app.
