EA app login screen doesn’t show text.

Hello all!

I recently downloaded the EA App on my windows PC (8). However, it opens fine, but I can’t see the text to login. I know the text is there because when I press a certain part of the screen it redirects me to login via EA website. I login and it redirects me back to this blue screen. Why isn’t my screen showing any graphics or text!?

things I have tried:

updated my laptop to newest windows it takes.

uninstalled and installed 4 times.

reset laptop.

I am at a complete loss! I’m not sure what else to do. Thank you in advance.

@adrifreman Hey, reaching out to see if this is still an issue with the EA App not showing that text.

See if the following work for you:

Clear the EA App cache first and reboot the app.

Then try the following. Depending on what is running in the background, it may not let you delete everything that is okay.

    • Press the Windows key + R
    • In the file explorer type in %temp%, and hit Enter
    • Delete everything it allows you to delete.
    • Reboot the PC

it sadly doesn’t pop up, and I can’t even highlight anything even tho that worked when I logged in

-I’ve also tried the other version that they recommend if I can’t open the app , found the “app recovery “ but it’s also just a black blob, highlighting also doesn’t work

@Faryzsofi Thanks. Taking a look at that I can see a few places I would start with.

First, Check for Windows and GPU updates - I know that Intel has newly updated drivers to download.

Install/Repair your VC++ files for the game (Microsoft VC++ Link)

You can just uninstall the EA App and do a whole reset but these steps will update and clean out anything causing that from showing up.

    Delete Windows Temp Files

    Spoiler
    • First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
    • Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
    • Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
    • Delete everything it allows you to delete
    • Reboot the PC

    DNS Flush

    Spoiler
    1. Click the Start button. It’s the Windows logo in the bottom left corner.
    2. Select Command Prompt.
    3. To open the command prompt console, you could also simply press the Windows and R keys at the same time and enter cmd.
    4. You may see a popup asking if you want to allow Command Prompt to make changes to your computer. If you do, select Yes.
    5. If you are asked for an administrative login at this point, then you’ll need to contact your system administrator to proceed.
    6. In the command prompt window, type ipconfig /flushdns.
    7. Press Enter.
    8. You should see a message confirming that the DNS Resolver Cache was successfully flushed.
