EA Desktop on Windows 7
Will upcoming EA Desktop support Win 7? P.S. And what's wrong with Origin? the name is better and looks are different from Steam/EGS/GOG (EA Desktop looks like them).

There is unconfirmed information that support for windows 7 will be officially discontinued by Origin and EA desktop in the coming months.
This is due to the termination of support for win 7 by Microsoft.

I'm tired of hearing this BS about "security".
Origin and uPlay and Steam dropped XP support only in 2017-2018 - 16-17 years after release and 3-4 years after Microsoft ended support.
It's not about support, it's about how many people still using Win 7 and that # is at least 1/4. Much higher % is using 7 now, than there were XP users in 2012 (11 years after release).
For EA to drop Win7 support would be very bad for business.
