EA Play won't link to Xbox but Xbox shows EA Play as linked
Have Game Pass Ultimate. Using it on PC w/Windows 10 and updated to latest drivers etc. Downloaded and installed EA Play and signed in on both apps. Xbox Account Settings show a link to EA Play but when I try to download ANY game from EA Play it tells me something went wrong and to go back. Logging in directly to EA Play I checked the 'Connections' section to see if Xbox is linked and it is not. Need help.
Things I've tried:
EA Messageboards and Community
EA FAQ on Account Linking
Reset EA Play passwords three times and was able to login to EA Play account.
Rebooted Xbox App
Rebooted EA Play App
Reinstalled and logged into EA Play App.
According to my Xbox subscription Ultimate allows me access to EA Play on PC and my Xbox One X. Why does Xbox app show linked with 'Manage' button but EA Play shows no connections?
Hi @TexasArsenal,
You can make sure that you are logged in with the correct EA account in your account setting on origin.com.
Under Linked Accounts it should show your Xbox account linked. If is not there, then you might be logged in with a different EA account. You can also check in the EA app if your account shows an EA Play logo next to your username in the top right (just mouse-over your avatar).
