It worked for me after unchecking both boxes to "Keep me signed in" and "Sign in invisible".
YMMV of course.
It's the penalty for daring to shut down the EA app and not letting it run in your system tray forever like you're supposed to.
Unchecking those didn't get me signed in just now.
I finally got logged in, but all my games give a 500 error 👎
