Ukrainian region

Ukrainian gamers asked for separation from Russia region for years on. We asked to add Ukrainian language to your app, add ability to choose any language in game, not just Russian, we asked to change payment currency and systems, as Ukraine is still going though Russin bank systems with RUBs! Yet, no changes were made. Now, when the all EA library was moved to new app it is a great opportunity to make so much asked changes!

Therefore, we ask you to:

 ⁃ remove Russian rubles, which have never been in circulation in independent Ukraine, as well as Russian payment services such as YooMoney and QIWI

 ⁃ Add Ukrainian language to the official EA website, Origin and EA app

 ⁃ Allow players to change the language of the game to any of the languages available, regardless of the region, as it is now we cannot even play in English!

Thousands of Ukrainian players are counting on your support!

    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to pay from Ukraine with russia currency (RUB)
    What happens when the bug occurs? Payment isn't accessible in Ukraine in rubles currency
    What do you expect to see? Successful payment. And UAH currency for Ukraine. Or any currency except russia currency (RUB)

    Hello.

    You've written you help Ukraine players. But you forgot about Ukraine players.

    You've written your games and content will no longer be available for purchase in russian region storefront on Origin or the EA app, including through in-game stores. 

    But your games no longer be available for purchase in Ukraine too.

    In Ukraine, you set russian rubles as money currency. It's a very bad joke EA.

    Since russian aggression was started, all transactions on credit cards with russian rubles are blocked.

    In Ukraine now not possible to buy games in Origin and in EA Desktop.

    You must delete russian rubles as available currency at all. It's a sanction that every solid company makes.

    No one doesn't want to work with bl*od money (russian rubles).

    Please, set for Ukraine's money currency UAH (hryvnia our national money currency), or another money currency like EUR, or USD.

    This problem is global for all Ukraine users. And you know it. There're many of the same topics as this. And you only promise to fix it.

    But after more than one year it's still the same problem. And it shows how EA listens to its customers actually.

    If you don't fix it we can't buy games in your stores. And even more, it's about EA's reputation also.

    Hello,

    I am from Ukraine. It's been over a year of full-scale invasion and nine years since the war started and EA haven't made any changes. For example, EA app has all the prices in garbageland currency (rub) and all operations using that * were banned by the National Bank of Ukraine over a year ago. Why wasn't this changed? I literally cannot buy anything there.

    Also, some games are available only in garbage language. I have xbox pc subscription and it includes EA play. Star Wars Battlefront 2, for example, is available for installation only in one language. I understand it will never get a Ukrainian localisation but why can't I play the original English version?

    I have 709 games on Steam and 0 bought games in EA, and it will be 0 until there is no possibility to choose UAH as currency and at least English language in all games

    @Pinkguin Absolutely agree and support it! I've been playing all parts of the Sims. I'm so delighted playing it, but at the same time upset, that EA discriminates us - Ukranian community. They always shut us down, but we just ask for Ukranian localisation, and currency, because we live in Ukraine!🇺🇦 there are millions of Ukranian speakers, we have our language, culture, traditions, history! But EA.... ☹️

    Not Only in Ukraine. I am from Armenia and for some reason our and I am sure not only our but also dozens of countries are redirected to Russian store. I respect that EA wants acts anti war and removes Russian region, but what did other players do. I’ve tried to reach out to them multiple times but it seems they just don’t care. Well I was one of the few users who was willing to pay for the add ons but I guess they do everything for me to find other ways.

    I support, it's great that there are many players from Ukraine who want to play games in their language. EA is taking some steps to add Ukrainian subtitles or dubbing to your games!

    Why did you delete or not even pass by my comment, in which I rightly criticize you for ignoring the problem raised? After all, three years ago, when this topic was created, the representative of EA EA_Darko said literally the following:

    "Thanks all for taking the time to share your feedback with the community.

    The team are aware of these requests and working on it."

    So how to understand these words - 3 years is not enough to add the Ukrainian language to the application, to the forum, to EA FC and other games? Or just take it as it really is - as ignoring?
