“Permissions Error”

whenever i try downloading, repairing or updating my sims 4 game, i get a pop up that says “there’s a problem with your security permissions we couldn’t access your system recources. make sure your security permissions are configured correctly and try again” it’s so frustrating i’ve already tried so many things and they don’t work.
