Account linking

Hi, I linked my game pass account to my ea account so that I can download jedi fallen order on my pc from game pass, when I click install in the xbox app, it takes me to ea, I signed I with my ea account which is linked to the xbox account that has game pass. However, it tells me that I either have to but the game or sign up for ea.
