What a terrible issue, I have spent two days to deal with, I want to sick,
Just finished a complete uninstall and reinstall of all my games and the EA app,
still have the same issue of games not launching and crashing back to the EA app.
1) Uninstalled Battlefield 1
2) Uninstalled Battlefield V
3) Uninstalled Battlefield 2042
4) Uninstalled EA APP
5) performed a complete registry clean and rebooted PC
6) Performed a second complete registry clean and reboot
7) Reinstalled EA App
8) Reinstalled Battlefield 1
9) Reinstalled Battlefield V
10) Reinstalled Battlefield 2042
11) Repaired Direct X
12) Repaired Visual C
13) Rebooted PC
All Games still crashing back to EA App Home at launch.
issue has existed since the last EA app update, have tried every thing in the forums
except a complete system reformat.
I am NOT going to perform a complete System reformat as it will take me 3 days to back up all my data,
then reinstall all my software.
EA Need to Fix this BUG that They have created, and NOT just leave it to the consumers to do their job for them!!!!!

It has to be EA app's issue, any other games on steam could be played, Rainbow 6, CS 2.

found a fix.
Did not even have to Reformat my Drive, reinstall any of my apps & data
or EA app or games this time.
It involves Upgrading Windows, however there is NO reformat involved
and you do not have to boot off a USB or DVD to do it
the whole thing takes almost 2 hours to complete
depending on your net connection for the downloads,
and the speed of your system to do the installs,
to reinstall the EA app and the games take me about 12 + hours
you will have to reinstall Visual C after the Upgrade finishes,
you can get the latest Visual C installers at the following links
