Solved

An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later.

I'm trying to play via the EA desktop app, since I'm a gamepass subscriber. I've had this issue nonstop and nothing has worked. Has anyone found a solution?

I was able to play after initially installing the desktop app and Battlefield V itself, but as soon as I restarted my PC I encountered this issue. I tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the desktop app after a full uninstall with revo-uninstaller. The only fix I found was to reinstall Battlefield V itself, but am I really going to do that everytime I want to play? Hell no.

I've tried running as administrator, compatability mode... pretty much everything now...

  • I found a workaround if anyone else has the same problem as me...

    Delete the 'bfv.exe' file found in C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield V

    Open EA app

    Go to Battlefield V

    Press 'download'

Literally just downloads the missing .exe in a few seconds and then it's playable

  • I am having the exact same issue but with a different game, The Saboteur. I can play other games okay but not that one. I got the "error on our end caused your launch to fail" code also. Kind of a bummer.  ☹️

Same problem with Crysis 3. EA help has no solution. will not admit it is their problem. Simply provide standard trouble shooting of my pc rather than admitting it is their fault
