app crashing after clicking on pay now and brings back to the cart after showing the below error.

Rebooting your PC and router should help here.
If the same happens after that, in the EA app, click on Settings, Application, and turn ON Application Updates.
Then restart the app and allow any updates to proceed.
Once that is done retry again.
