My video card is always running even at idle? I don't gme much be this takes up resources? I also can't get the app to boot minimized even through I set it to do so? Never used to? I also gt an error when shutting down the laptop that its stopping shutdown
Check in your task manager if the app launches at start up. If it does, disable it. The option is also in the ea app settings.. but for some reason it keeps being turned on again after updates (at least for me). I hope this helps
It's not in the startup apps? Turning it off in the app does nothing and it's always back on after
Revo Uninstaller? Have you done the tried and true uninstall?
change the default graphics preference in Windows or the NVIDIA Control Panel to "Integrated Graphics" or "Power Saving" mode
I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 4070 and haven't had this issue before. However, maybe this could help you?
To remove the tray icon and stop the application from running in the background, open the NVIDIA Control Panel > On the top menu select > Desktop > uncheck "Show Notification Tray Icon. (found on the windows help website)
