i just bought some add ons for the sims 4 but my game wouldn't open and when i checked task manager, it wasn't there. so i tried to reinstall the app as i saw suggested, it wouldn't repair. now it's uninstalled (i can't find it in my programs list), but it won't install and keeps timing out. i didn't really have that money to spend and the fact i've spent so much on this game series, just for this to never work. can someone PLEASE help me!

To start with, I'd suggest a Clean Boot and then try reinstalling the EA app: How to clean or safe boot your computer
In case you're unable to install the app after the Clean Boot, please try using Ccleaner to clean any remaining installation files from EA app:
