Hi everyone, Another update from my end about the Black Screen issue: This has now been fixed. Please check if the black screens have disappeared and let me know if you still run into issues.

@MichaelDK go to Documents folder and then go to Battlefield 1 folder now delete twinkle Folder and try again ! if with this method problem didn't solved they really need care about that !

I have exactly the same issue with EA Desktop and BF1, for now ill switch back to Origin until this is resolved.

Apparently "listening to the community" and asking them to report bugs isn't as important to the EA Desktop devs as they seem to advertise in the app.
3 weeks for a simple bug and nothing, ill check this beta again in a year or so. bye

@MichaelDK My friend and I also have this issue with the EA Desktop app. Same as in your pictures, I have also reported it through the app.

Also having this issue. Not only the main menu is black, but also the loading screens.

This also happens in Battlefield 5, but only on the stats screen in between matches.

Still happening in March 2021, apparently it has something to do with EA Desktop not being able to install or access the assets under "my documents".

It is really frustrating when this bug on EA Desktop is combined with another well known one on Origin which doesn't allow you to start the game cuz of a greyed out play button or just "Details" (Which apparently happens when you had origin access for some time and canceled it after while still having bought the game). I, right now, have the option to play a broken game without the assets or not to play it at all.
I paid money for this and i would like to access what i paid for.
