Battlefield 1 uninstalled itself???

I'm a regular BF player and was playing BF1 yesterday however I've just loaded up EAdesktop to find it not there? Cant find files anywhere apart from a complete install log in program files. This has happened three or four times before and it seems to occur whenever my EAdesktop requests microsoft game pass authentication (Im currently accessing EAplay through microsoft game pass and the whole experience has been buggy as hell) Anyone had any similar experiences? I'm now installing through the Origin client.

  • This just happened to me using EA Play through Steam. I had a hard freeze mid game that made me have to restart my PC and when I tried to boot the game on Steam again it was no where to be found on my SSD. Reading older threads on here and Reddit, apparently this has been faint issue for quite some time as some threads are as old as 2017. Reinstalling now, well see if it happens again. Glad I'm not the only one recently affected by this in recent times as I noticed you posted this a week ago. Has it happened to you again since?

EDIT: Ive come to the realization that it was in fact on my hard drive and Steam just wouldn't recognize that the game was installed.

  • Same thing just happened to me as well, just today. 2 years after yours bug stuff. But i have now idea when and what happened...
