How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea
What happens when the bug occurs? The game runs in the background but never actually pops up. You have to kill the background process.
What do you expect to see? The game.
So I bought bf2042 because I wanted to own it but couldn't get it to launch. I spent three hours trying every solution google had to offer with zero effect. I gave up and refunded and bought it on EA. Same story, refunded. Reinstalled the gamepass version and it plays just fine.
Anybody have any ideas what might be the deal and how to fix this? The gamepass account is my brothers and we want to be able to play together and I don't want a subscription for one game.
