Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? when trying to load multiplayer conquest games - usually fails at "connection to EA online timed out"
What happens when the bug occurs? just get the "connection to EA timed out error"
What do you expect to see? cant get into multiplayer game
Its been a nightmare to get into online mutiplayer conquest matches for the past several weeks for me. I used to play BFV years ago and never had these issues, but recently got back into this and since have this problem.
picking conquest tacticle or conquest strategic, the matchmaking facility usually finds a squad - but then dumps me into a "connection to ea online timed out, bandwidth or latency may not be as required" or some such. I can try over and over, restart the game, the PC, try again, eventually after half an hour or so of messing about I'll suddenly get online.
Im on a 1gb fibre ISP connection, and have tried both hard wired to the router, and wifi connection - same on both. I also have my son playing BFV on his xbox on the same network and he never gets any connection issues.
Are there any settings in BF5 for networking? as I couldnt find anything specifically? I noticed on other forums there was some 'fix' for this on BF1 that had a specific server/network setting ? but I couldnt find similar on bf5.
