Summarize your bug I can't launch Battlefield V on the EA app.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I dont know
What happens when the bug occurs? I just get the message: 'Your game failed to launch' and either 'there has been an error on our end, try again later' or 'double-check your connection, or try again later'.
What do you expect to see? That it would work
A year ago I suddenly couldn't launch Battlefield V through the EA app and got the message: 'Your game failed to launch' or 'there has been an error on our end, try again later' or 'double-check your connection, or try again later'.
Fortunately, I figured out I could just run Origin as an administrator and launch BF from there and it would work just fine. Yesterday, however, since I'm now forced to use the EA app, I'm facing the same issue. I have tried everything on every youtubevideo and forum I've read. Changing the DX12, uninstalled and reinstalled both Origin, EA, the game both normally and through an uninstaller, updated everything, renaming the folder, etc etc etc. I've changed every setting possible back and forth and nothing helps.
Hi @CryMiaRiver @T0ZZi_91 Can we try the following and check if this error continues?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
