Hi everyone,
Is it possible that before you bought BFV via Steam, you also owned/played via the same EA account before, but via a different launcher? Is it possible that you own the game via multiple launchers?
This won't help but I figured I'd put this out there, its happening to folks who purchased the game through Origin as well. I've owned the game since launch, have over 200 hours in game. You can find posts for this exact issue going back to October of 22 when they sunset origin. Like you, I've done the whole reinstall thing, cleared the cache, and hell, I even tried it on a different machine. NOTHING works. (The secondary machine never had BFV installed or origin or EA.) I keep checking back in every few months because I'm dying to go play the BFV campaign, but nothing ever gets fixed, not patch is ever made, and no advice they ever give works. At this point, I won't be buying another EA game ever again since they can't even guarantee I'll have access to the titles I paid for. (at full price at launch no less)

The one fix that worked for me was to delete any file assosiacted with EA ANTICHEAT, but first you need to go to task manager's services tab and stop the process otherwise it won't let you delete all the files, once you've done that restart the EA APP and start the game and it should work.
