BF2042 Won't Update or Install using EA App.....

Is anyone else having any issues installing or downloading updates on the EA app on PC? I finally switched from the old Origin app and every other game works except for BF2042. I tried installing upd...

Hey @magpulmasata can you ensure that when launching you are running the EA app as administrator to see if that makes a difference?

I just tried that and I even uninstalled and re-installed the EA app and it still doesn't work. It almost seems like its something to do with BF2042 specifically for some reason. I downloaded Medal of Honor Pacific Assault and Need for Speed Most Wanted no problem.......

      @EA_Darko I was afraid to try and Uninstall one of my other Battlefield games thinking I wouldn't be able to get it downloaded again like BF2042. I did however reinstall Origin last night and then I was able to download BF2042 no problem. I did a test run on it this morning and it played flawlessly..... I hope this helps.

        I've been having the same issues.  BF2042 shows as wanting to download in the EA app (already installed via Origin) then fails.  I have noticed that the EA app is showing my old purchase of the Ultimate edition which I refunded at launch.  Since then, I bought the standard version, it looks like the EA app is trying to download the Ultimate Edition again but fails.

        I've had to go back to Origin for everything to work again.
