Worked like a charm. Thank you for posting it.

I was playing Battlefront 2 when this was causing this issue and i couldn't turn it off, so i closed the game and it let me disable the overlay.
If anyone can't disable it, you might have to leave the game first before you try disabling the overlay. Worked for me. - Puty_destroyer28 days agoNewcomer

Can confirm snapczterz's method worked for me.

I had the same issue. I found out that you have to be 'online' in order to disable it. Then you can switch to invisible afterwards.
At least that's what worked for me. - EA_Leeuw2 months ago

Hey Axelirant, I merged your post with an existing thread about this. Could you please also share an EA app Error Reporter ID with us here in the thread?

Posting this a second time because first post appears to have been removed: Link
Just reinstalled Windows 11 Pro (factory ISO), installed the EA app from Official website and the option to turn off the in-game overlay is greyed out.
- No game is running.
- Uninstalled/re-installed App several times.
Please fix.

Hi JYGChaBai,
To help us look into this better, could you please send us your EA Error Report ID? For more info on how you can run the EA Error Reporter, check out the article linked below:

Once you have the Error Report ID please share it here in this thread. Thank you! - EA_Leeuw2 months ago

Hey JYGChaBai,
That's indeed odd. Could you perform an App Recovery and see if that fixes the issue?
