Summarize your bug Trying to launch Anthem from the EA app gives an error
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the EA app Try and launch Anthem
What happens when the bug occurs? Clicking play displays a Lunching game dialog which never completes and then shows this error : 'Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later.' The prompt provides buttons for 'Get the game' or 'Close'. Clicking the 'Get the game' button takes me to the Anthem library page again.
What do you expect to see? Anthem launching
I believe the issue is related to the EA app (or servers) not detecting the correct version of the game. I own the Legion of Dawn edition, as the library screenshot shows.
But when I click on Add-ons for the game, it still gives me the option to buy the Legion of Dawn upgrade, as per the store screenshot.
I've followed every guide available, including resetting the client, uninstalling the game and app and reinstalling and running the EA app as both administrator and not, none of which allow the game to launch.
Any help greatly appreciated.
