Cannot launch mass effect legendary edition from steam using EA app.

    EA App was saying that the game is not installed although it was installed via Steam. Was going to give up but then took a look in the registry...Corrected it and restarted the EA App. Afterwards it recognized that the game is installed via Steam and was able to launch the game (works also from the EA App).

    So in such case check your registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition

When you have the chance could you please share your EA app Error Report ID to help with our investigation? For more info on how you can grab the Report ID check out this article on the EA Help website. 

Once you have the Error Report ID please share it in this thread. We just need the Report ID, not the full log files themselves.

Error Report ID: 9440542e-ba2d-48a7-9fd5-0794c1192ae0

When I press play on Steam, it says "Something went wrong... To continue linking your EA Account, head back and start over."

When I try to log into the EA App with Steam, it invariably states that "There's been an error. Your EA credentials may have expired, please try again or reset your password." even if I have reset my password.
