cannot log in the EA Desktop App

I am at the end of my rope here. I cannot log into the EA Desktop app. I can log into the EA website tho. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my PC, making a new password, EA Recovery, and still nothing. this is the message I get every time I log in.  "There's a problem with your account." and nothing else after that. I am about to throw hands here!
