I seem to have found a fix.I followed this guide https://www.online-tech-tips.com/gaming/how-to-clear-your-origin-cache/ which I found on reddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/origin/comments/s2zvjf/ea_desktop_app_downloads_temp_files_going_to_c/
1. I deleted the cache through the ea desktop app
2. Close the EA desktop app
2. Deleted the orgin folder in AppData/Local
This fixed it somehow for me.

Thanks for your reply.. I'll try this when I get home.. This is better than EA customer support. They only say the standard solutions. It's always the player's PC and not their fault.
