Can't close the app

Question

Currently my EA app won't close and every time I they it says to close my game, but I can't close my game because it says I need to download it. So it's just stuck, can someone please help with this as I'd like to get back to playing the sims.&nbsp;

@Dabble1234&nbsp; Kill the game (if it's there) and the EA App in the Task Manager.&nbsp; Make sure to get the EABackgroundService too; it'll be under background processes.&nbsp; Then restart your computer.

If you happen to have a Mac, click cmd-optn-esc and Force Quit instead.
