Can't disable EA launcher on startup?!
This is a bit of an absurd question to ask in this day in age, and in my opinion more of a bug that a question, but I'll ask it here anyways... Is there any legit reason that I can't disable the EA launcher, easily from inside the program, from launching on startup (like I can with every other program on my computer that has a tray icon)? I have looked in Win 11 services (the only EA item is set to manual, and therefore should not startup automatically unless absolutely necessary), inside the UI of the app (where there is no startup option in any of the settings), as well as in the startup folder (where there's no shortcut for the launcher). Considering how long I've worked on computers, this should not be a difficult thing to do. I imagine this would be even more frustrating for users with less IT experience who are trying to do the same. I do not need EA launcher to run all of the time. Most of the time I do not need it running. Therefor I don't want it starting every time my computer boots (slowing down the process), or running in the background (downloading things, installing things, monitoring things, or taking up RAM). Why every company seems to think their app (gaming or otherwise) should be considered essential, when 99% of the time it's not is beyond me. EA, considering you don't have a better "contact" option where I could just send you this info, if anyone from your company stumbles across this post, please add an option to your app that toggles starting it up in the background. Thank you!
