Can't download sims 4 on Mac

I can''t download the mac version of sims 4 on my macbook air. I go to the EA website, click download for mac, then continue to checkout, login to my EA account and then it takes me back to the 'cont...

Sims 4 shows “Not available for purchase” on the EA App and website. I’m in NZ on Mac (fully updated). I’ve cleared cache, reinstalled the EA App, restarted, logged out/in, and checked region settings SEVERAL times. Other games download fine.
