Cant download The Sims 4: High School Years

I think at this point in time, everyone who has ever had this issue has tried and retried the recommended steps to get it to work (myself included) and have had no luck, all other add ons I have installed no problem at all, but with the High School Years add on it just keeps bringing up the error "There's a problem with your download-Something went wrong during your download. Give us a few minutes, then try again"

I'm having the exact same problem. HSY runs fine on my desktop, since I had initially bought the expansion when it was brand new, but I just got a new laptop yesterday and can't for the life of me get it to download despite going through every possible step.

I purchased HSY today and i'm having exactly the same issue.

I've tried every trick i can find but it just wont download. 

14% is exactly where I get to as well, I have tried and retried all the suggested fixes but nothing seems to work.

I'm having the same problem. I tried to download HSY, an error pops up, pauses the download and tells me to try again later. I downloaded another expansion (Cottage Living) right after trying with HSY, and CL was successfully downloaded. So I tried again with HSY and it did not work.

I've tried restarting everything, and am having the same problem (including only getting to 14%). For some reason the clutter kit was also having the same issue, but that one finally resolved it after enough tries.  

I have the exact same thing as the people before me. stuck at 14%

Summarize your bug I purchased a few DLCs for The Sims 4. After clicking on the download button, the EA App does nothing. The content is marked as owned but when I click on "download", no download process gets triggered.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy one of the newest DLCs For the Sims 4. The content isn't downloaded automatically so you have to click on the download button. Nothing happens after that.
What happens when the bug occurs? I purchased a few addons for The Sims 4 (Greenhouse Haven Kit, Basement Treasures Kit and Grunge Revival Kit). The content is marked as "owned". However, when I view the list of downloadable addons and click on the blue download button, the button turns grey but nothing happens. When I reopen the list, the download button's blue again. I can repeat this procedure again and again always with the same result. When I click on the addon itself and click on the download button, a loading screen is shown for only a second and nothing happens after that.
What do you expect to see? I expect the EA App to download the content when I click the download button

I had no issues whatsoever with downloads before this. Any DLCs I bought before (Growing Together included on March 16th 2023) downloaded and installed just fine.

I already reinstalled the EA App twice and cleared the cache several times on different days throughout the past week.
