I think at this point in time, everyone who has ever had this issue has tried and retried the recommended steps to get it to work (myself included) and have had no luck, all other add ons I have installed no problem at all, but with the High School Years add on it just keeps bringing up the error "There's a problem with your download-Something went wrong during your download. Give us a few minutes, then try again"

14% is exactly where I get to as well, I have tried and retried all the suggested fixes but nothing seems to work.

Summarize your bug I purchased a few DLCs for The Sims 4. After clicking on the download button, the EA App does nothing. The content is marked as owned but when I click on "download", no download process gets triggered.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy one of the newest DLCs For the Sims 4. The content isn't downloaded automatically so you have to click on the download button. Nothing happens after that.
What happens when the bug occurs? I purchased a few addons for The Sims 4 (Greenhouse Haven Kit, Basement Treasures Kit and Grunge Revival Kit). The content is marked as "owned". However, when I view the list of downloadable addons and click on the blue download button, the button turns grey but nothing happens. When I reopen the list, the download button's blue again. I can repeat this procedure again and again always with the same result. When I click on the addon itself and click on the download button, a loading screen is shown for only a second and nothing happens after that.
What do you expect to see? I expect the EA App to download the content when I click the download button

It's really frustrating because I already paid for the content but can't download it.
I had no issues whatsoever with downloads before this. Any DLCs I bought before (Growing Together included on March 16th 2023) downloaded and installed just fine.
I already reinstalled the EA App twice and cleared the cache several times on different days throughout the past week.

I just wanted to say: the others in this post do NOT have the same issues like me. Their issues lies in their download getting stuck at 14% when downloading HSY and this is not at all what's happening with my EA desktop app, so I don't understand why my post got merged with this one.
My problem with the EA App is:
I can't initiate the download process at all even though I'm pressing the download button. My download doesn't get stuck at some percentage because it doesn't even START to begin with.
It's frustrating that this is going on for several months now and I only made my own bug report on this forum because I couldn't find an existing one with this exact issue and I didn't get any help from the EA support team when I first reported the bug through the EA App. I tried the suggestions from the other users but apparently nothing works for my bug...

@Watashimori-chan The download issues from a couple weeks ago were all merged together because, from what I understand at least, the underlying cause appeared to be the same whether the download stuck at 14% or didn't start at all. I don't have any inside information; I'm just going by EA posts in various threads.
Having said that, please post in this thread:
where I'm merging new posts in case this is now or always was a distinct issue. Please provide the info requested in the thread about your Order History, and be sure to list in that thread which DLC is affected.
