    @ImB1ind I resolve the issue, I had to reinstall the EA desktop app, the games install via EA desktop app didn't get affected, it was easy and after I log in in the app, the games were available to play.

In case someone has this nowadays: it was a torture to figure out that my password was "expired". I have no idea what it means, but I just had to open up the login page of EA in my browser, try to log in, and see a message that my password needs to be reset. I did that, confirmed the reset via email, and logged in. After this everything was fine. Neither uninstalling nor rebooting the service helped me, only manual log in in the browser.

@BabaYaga1964 Not fixed for me.. Oh snap, it crashed.. A SIMPLE restar should resolve the issue..
It didnt. Tried all tricks.. no way to open game..
I only have BF2042 installed. I've an download pending,(without more info ou name). If I try to resume that download: Crash.
If I remove, and try to open BF2042: crash.
