Also can you try logging into help.ea.com with your Xbox account information and see if it errors out like the EA App client?

@EA_Illiumthanks for your reply.
To answer your second question straight ahead:
That's exactly what I'm doing in the first set of screenshots.
I went to help.ea.com and tried to use the XBOX-Login button followed by an error (it also does not work when I manually enter my XBOX account credentials).
To your first question:
Thats the error which occurs after using the XBOX-Login-Button on help.ea.com.
Translated from German to English:
"Please reset your password
Your login credentials might have expired. Good news: all you need to do is reset your password.If you need additional help, please visit help.ea.com."
Like I mentioned, I have reset my password several times already.

Update:
Something strange happens if I open the account settings within the new EA App or Origin using my EA Account.
It forwards me to a website showing my EA account settings (like in one of the screenshots I initially posted) but with different information compared to the information shown by manually going to the account settings on help.ea.com.
In other words: I use the same account but the EA website shows me different stuff.

EA Staff (Retired)
Hey @dr_alexmoody To confirm the Origin client does not have the sign-in features the EA App client does, To confirm are you using the same email and password on the both client's login screen? Or are you using a Persona/different email/ or the Xbox option for the EA app versus Origin?
If not I would recommend reaching out to our support with your EA Account info (Email, Persona) and your Xbox Gamer Tag in order for them to further look into this.
