Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection won't launch on the EA app

Summarize your bug My Origin application automatically updated to the EA app and since then none of the games from C&C ultimate collection are playing. I click to launch the game, it's giving me a message saying "Hold up, this games needs permissions" I click on Ok and nothing happens. Why did they force us to change the Origin app?? Everything was working fine up until now. Honestly, WHY???
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? My Origin application automatically updated to the EA app and since then none of the games from C&C ultimate collection are playing. I click to launch the game, it's giving me a message saying "Hold up, this games needs permissions" I click on Ok and nothing happens. Why did they force us to change the Origin app??   • This exact same thing and timeline has happened to me, which is why I am trying to find answers. 

  • I have the same issue, now its Nov 2023 and EA has no response?  ....Still hating C&C and only wanting the money from it.... so sad.
