Connection failed error for friends list

I can't access my friends list for a few days. It says connection failed and the friends list is not loading. I deleted the EA app and then reinstalled it. The problem was not solved.

The exact same thing just happened to me. I installed the app and the problem persists. If you find a solution, let me know.
