[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!11KViews4likes103Comments[SECURITY VULNERABILITY] - Multiple EA ID's
After submitting a request and downloading your EA Account Information you will notice a list of 'Personas' associated to your account (legacy EA ID's may be listed here). Multiple Personas may be tied to the EA app platform and have an 'ACTIVE' status. These EA Account Personas can be used in place of your current EA ID, and will allow access to your account using your current password. After taking this information to the EA Support team, I was told there was nothing they could do before refusing to escalate this matter to a supervisor. Due to the nature of this bug, please share this around to help bring attention from the senior technical teams to rectify the issue promptly.Missing Content from dlc, bug?
I recently brought the adventures await pack which downloaded great and had no problems. i then brought the 'outdoors retreat' add on and the 'get to work' pack. i downloaded these and have had problems since. it says its downloaded and on my game however it keeps coming up with 'repair' which i have tried several times aswell as clearing the cache and restarting everything. none of the content is appearing in the game except some clothing items. no new worlds or anything. since this, my game keeps glitching and has closed on me a couple times now. its getting rid of all my progress before i can save! i dont want to be saving every 5 seconds as you know what that'd be like! so at the moment ive lost money, my games progress and the ACTUAL packs ive only just brought! can anyone help with this please.25Views0likes3Comments[INFO REQUEST] Error Code: EC:10005 In EA app
For days now, I’ve been reaceiving this error code on my PC. I repaired the EA App, uninstalled and reinstalled it, checked my Norton firewall, reset my router, ran as Administrator and tried other fixes, but the error persists. This has never happened before, and it only affects the EA App—my Steam games run without issue. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM ASAP!!Solved2.4KViews12likes112CommentsCannot reset password!!
I'm at the end of my rope. I stopped playing 'Sims 4' 3 months ago, and during a chat with my 12 yo today about why, I wanted to show him Sims 3. Unfortunately, it's locked behind my EA app, and to log in to play it, I need to remember my EA password. I haven't used it for probably half a year, since I bypassed logging in constantly by linking my Steam account with it. I forced my EA app open by running Sims 4 with Steam, but it won't let me open Sims 3 while Sims 4 is running. I shut down Sims 4, only to see the EA app asking me to sign in. Fine. I'll try and remember my password. Nope. Reset password. And I get this infuriating message: Reset password on a recognized device You have 1 hour to complete the following: On a recognized device, launch an EA game with online features. Reset your EA Account password. Before starting, make sure the game is closed and launch it in online mode. So I launch sims 4 again and NOTHING HAPPENS! I only have the EA app on this device, unless it wants me to open the EA app on my kids computer...which no longer works...426Views1like3CommentsTurkey Players Facing Sims 4 Purchase Error 54001 on EA app (Aug. 2025)
I have been trying to purchase The Sims 4 Essential Glam Kit through the EA App for the past two days, but I keep receiving the following error: "We had some trouble processing your request. Select a different payment method, or try again a little later. [ref. #54001]" I have tried multiple times and also waited, but the issue still persists. Could you please help me resolve this problem so I can complete my purchase? I've tried using mobile, internet site, clearing caches etc. I've seen like 20 people from Turkey having this problem on X. And while browsing the EA Forum, I saw at least 20 different people from Turkey also experiencing the same issue too. Thank you in advance for your support. Good afternoon, there was a problem for the second day now, I can't log in to the game. There's a constant endless loading, although other players from the league don't have this, I'm the only one with the problem. What's the problem, can you please explain???Why is the EA App still this Horrendous in 2025?
I can download a 50 GB game on Steam in under 10 minutes. On the EA App? The same size takes literal hours. How is this acceptable for a literal billion dollar company? The app constantly crawls at not even 10 MB/s no matter how fast your internet is. Gigabit fiber? Doesn’t matter. It basically time travels you back to 2005. This company literally makes billions every year off FIFA Ultimate Team packs, but somehow can’t manage to optimize a game launcher and can’t give players a launcher that downloads faster than 9 MB/s in 2025. How do you ship AAA titles through a launcher that feels worse than a beta test? We don’t need flashy UI, we don’t need “social features.” We just need the basics: fast, reliable downloads + stable game launching. That’s it. Steam, Epic, even Ubisoft Connect have figured this out years ago. EA App is still lagging behind, pun fully intended. This is absolutely ridiculous.16Views0likes0CommentsPlease update your IP address database
Hello, I cannot create an EA account from my console. After reading your forums, I found that you have a list of countries where your services are restricted, such as Iran and Russia. However, I am from Kyiv, Ukraine, and my IP address is 31.128.117.196. Please update your IP address database, as your system seems to incorrectly detect my location. Thank you.41Views0likes0Comments
