"Couldn't connect to servers" error in EA app (Aug. 15, '23)

I keep on getting the error "couldn't connect to servers we ran into a problem but a quick restart should fix it". Also, have done all the recommended fixes or potential fixes I've found in prior forums and yet nothing seems to work. There's a new NFS Unbound update that I need to install and I can't do that because of how insanely bad EA is at this. Please help me find a solution before I go insane.
